The message of personal responsibility for health and wellness is not reaching the youngest members of our society in a meaningful way. With an estimated 40% of school-aged children already having at least one risk factor for heart disease, including obesity, high blood pressure or high blood cholesterol, the time for change is now!
At The Wellspring Organization, we’ve created programs that help children acquire an understanding of health concepts and the skills needed to apply them in making healthy decisions to improve, sustain, and promote personal, family, and community health. Our ultimate goal is to teach children key health concepts and skills needed to facilitate the formation of healthy behaviors and practices. The C.H.A.N.G.E.SM Programs
C.H.A.N.G.E.SM 1-4
The C.H.A.N.G.E.SM 1-4 program is designed for children in grades 1 through 4. This series focuses on helping children understand how their decisions can impact their health and wellness now and in the future. Students begin to relate choices with consequences. Students will:

The C.H.A.N.G.E.SM 8-12 program is designed for children in grades 8 through12.
